YOU WILL LIVE ETERNALLY - BUT WHERE?

As we look about us it does not take long to realize that life is so unsure, death is so certain, hell is so horrible, heaven is so sweet, that it behooves all us to determine sooner, rather than later where we will spend eternity. We plan for surviving life here on earth by acquiring a good education and a needed skill. We build comfortable homes for our families, acquire health and accident insurance and plan for retirement. But, then what? Since death is a certainty, it is imperative we plan for the Here-after as well. We choose where we live and where we vacation too, why not plan for our destiny beyond here-and-now?

A captivating story is set forth in Luke 16:19-31, in which a rich man found that though he had planned well for now, he neglected to take into consideration the After-life.

What must one do to prepare for the future beyond this earth? It really is quite easy - follow the Roman Road to Salvation:
  • Admit to being a sinner - "FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD." Romans 3:23
  • Understand you deserve death for sin - " . . . THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH. . ." Romans 6:23a
  • Ask God to forgive and save you - ". . .BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST . . " Rom. 6:23b
  • Give your life to God - "GOD  DEMONSTRATES  HIS  OWN  LOVE  FOR US,  IN  THAT  WHILE  WE  WERE YET SINNERS CHRIST DIED FOR US!" Romans 5:8
  • Call out to God in the name of Jesus - "WHOSOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED. Romans 10:13.
  • Is Jesus knocking on your heart's door? - "BEHOLD I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK, IF ANYONE HEARS MY VOICE AND OPEN THE DOOR, I WILL COME IN TO HIM. . ." Revelations 3:20a
Open your Bible to the Gospel according to John. Read what God says about Jesus, about you, and about you being born again. God will help you because He loves you.

Find a local Bible believing church where God's word is preached and taught. Groups of all kinds have meetings to uplift and encourage their members. Christians need to encourage each other too. Hebrews 10:25. Forgiveness is yours in Jesus and you belong to Him. Once you were a slave to sin, but now YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD! John 1:12 - "AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM, TO THEM HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD, EVEN TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIS NAME!"
