U. S. SUPREME COURT BUILDING AND THE HOLY BIBLE

The following is from the New England Primer, 1691. This famous book was used to teach colonial era children the alphabet, using rhyme and illustrations. This is such a delightful idea and I see nothing that violates ones freedom, and no church is named. Our Founding Fathers survived the “onslaught” of righteousness, and we are all better off today for their having done so. Righteousness exalts a nation – Pro. 14:34 (NKJV)

Because of the sin nature passed from Adam, no nation will ever be perfect. However, God does bless those nations who honor Him. The United States was a respected world power until she started thumbing her nose at God about 1962. Until then America was invincible, as no military was able to penetrate her borders. In addition America was the world’s greatest creditor nation. But this has changed. The downward slide began when the U.S. Supreme Court took Bible and prayer out of her schools. Then by their actions and rulings, they took away the sanctity of human life by ruling abortion to be constitutional. Now the sanctity of marriage, which was instituted by God Himself, in the Garden, is in the cross-hairs.  Marriage, like the church, is not of human origin, both having been ordained and instituted by God Himself. For man to attempt to alter either is to rouse the anger of Almighty God.

Hasten the day Precious Savior that a great national revival sweeps over America’s amber waves of grain, purple mountain majesties, across the wilderness, and the fruited plain, from sea to shining sea. Refine us as gold Mighty God, mend our every flaw, reconfirm our soul in self-control. Shed Your grace again on America, our Kinsman Redeemer, until our alabaster cities gleam undimmed by human tears.
