Colorado Photos By Don 1

Little did I know what I had in store when I headed for Colorado.  I had heard much about the beauty of Colorado for many years as I was growing up in Louisiana. I was enthralled by the sublime beauty of the snow capped mountains that captivated my eye and my attention as I neared by destination of Pueblo, Colorado on May 7, 1956.

As soon as I was situated I just had to go to Colorado Springs and find my way up the legendary Pike's Peak. What an incredible experience!  Over the following 52 years I traveled all over Colorado, seeing the mountains, the prairies, the wheat fields, the flatlands, the sand dunes, the caves and the canyons - and I liked the mountains best. Of the 100 tallest mountains in the United States, 53 of them are in Colorado, being known as "The Fourteeners. The following photos are only an inkling of the beauty and the wonder to be found in Colorado.

Frameable 8 x 10 prints of any of these photos are available for only $12.95 each. Will be shipped anywhere in the 50 United States postage prepaid. You purchase your frames locally for your individual taste and decor.
